UPMC Primary Care

About Us

When you choose a UPMC primary care physician (PCP), you can establish a lasting relationship that can benefit you throughout a lifetime. Our doctors provide wellness services and treatment for medical conditions that range from common to complex.

Video Visits

For your convenience, you can book a video visit or an in-office appointment directly with your primary care provider (PCP).

With a video visit, you can see your doctor from the privacy of your own home or anywhere. It's easy to schedule a video visit. All you need is a MyUPMC account, a smartphone or tablet, the free MyUPMC app, and a scheduled video visit appointment. Don't have a MyUPMC account yet? Download the MyUPMC app to sign-up. If you need assistance, please call the MyUPMC Helpdesk (24/7) at 1-866-884-8579 – we're here to help!

COVID-19 Update

When arriving at your primary care office, you can expect:

  • A safe and clean environment
  • To maximize social distancing, patients may be asked to wait in the car until the appointment time
  • Patients and support persons will be pre-screened prior to entering the office
  • Patients must wear a mask inside the office
  • Social distancing is required inside the office
  • If needed, one support person may accompany a patient and social distancing should be maintained
  • Patients should not bring children inside the office unless the child is the patient being cared for.

If you have respiratory symptoms, including fever, headache, sore throat, nasal congestion, and cough, you can book a video visit online.

If you are experiencing severe symptoms such as trouble breathing, you should visit an emergency department in your community for immediate care. If you can, call ahead of time so they may prepare for your arrival and prevent the spread of any illness, but do not delay if you have severe breathing problems.

If you believe you have been exposed to the coronavirus or have symptoms, visit "How to Find COVID-19 Care" to navigate your care options.
