Conveniently located off I-180 on a lovely campus, Muncy Place, part of UPMC Senior Communities, is the only facility in the region connected to a critical care hospital, UPMC Muncy. This home-like setting supports the management of daily living, with easy access to hospital services such as emergency care, lab services, and radiology if needed.
Muncy Place provides a variety of programs that meet the needs of residents who no longer require hospital care, but need 24-hour assistance. A team of UPMC professionals work to enhance quality of life and return residents to their highest level of independent functioning. Caring, dedicated staff provide comprehensive services that address the physical, psychological, and social needs of each resident.
The state-of-the-art rehabilitation area provides the latest equipment. The rehab team includes exceptional physical, occupational, and speech therapists. All care is overseen by a board-certified medical director who works in partnership with the resident’s physicians.
Additionally, expert memory care is available at The Willows, a specialized wing of Muncy Place, for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
