UPMC Senior Communities offers Independent Living, Personal Care, Personal Care Memory, Assisted Living, Skilled Memory and Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facilities to interested residents. Transitional rehabilitation units (TRUs) are also available as part of the UPMC Rehabilitation Institute.
Our independent living and assisted living facilities including Beatty Pointe Village, Cumberland Crossing Manor, Cumberland Woods Village, Hampton Fields Village, Strabane Trails Village, and Strabane Woods are managed by Presbyterian SeniorCare Network. Sherwood Oaks, our continuing care retirement community, is also managed by Presbyterian SeniorCare Network.
Of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, Canterbury Place and Cranberry Place are managed by Oakdale Seniors Alliance.

Yes, residents may have family and friends as visitors to their apartments. Guests typically must sign in at the front desk for security purposes.

Pets are allowed at UPMC Senior Communities Independent Living facilities only.
No. Having a health insurance plan from UPMC or any other provider is not a requirement for moving into one of our independent living, personal care, or assisted living facilities. The skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities take a variety of insurances and can be verified prior to admission.
Yes. Residents are permitted to have their own private vehicles if they choose. Parking is free for residents and guests.
Yes. Depending on the facility, meals are included as part of your monthly rent. Meal plans vary from facility to facility, so if you have specific questions please contact the building directly to discuss the available options.
Yes. Each of our facilities has an activities director that plans a wide variety of events and activities each month for our residents. Spiritual services are also available.
