UPMC Content 2

UPMC skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities provide a variety of programs to meet the needs of people who no longer require care in a hospital but do need 24-hour nursing care and other health care services.

UPMC's reputation for medical excellence is demonstrated every day in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. By combining talent and services, we have become leaders in geriatric health care in western Pennsylvania.

Geriatricians, certified registered nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants work cooperatively to enhance quality of life and return residents to their highest level of independent functioning. Caring, dedicated staff provide comprehensive skilled nursing and rehabilitation services that address the physical, psychological, and social needs of each resident.

Our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities provide expert rehabilitative care for those recovering from surgery or other medical treatments. We provide 24-hour nursing services, assistance with activities of daily living and care focused on restoring health and independence.
