Long-Term Care and Rehab

Not all patients are able to return home after leaving UPMC Presbyterian.

Some need care at a long-term facility. Others need to continue their recovery with the rehab services of physical, occupational, and speech therapists.

Should you need further care after discharge, UPMC offers:

• Inpatient rehabilitation
• Outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy

Home Care and Medical Equipment

• UPMC’s home care services provide follow-up care in your home after your stay at UPMC Presbyterian.
• UPMC's home medical equipment service delivers and sets up wheelchairs, special bathroom supplies, hospital beds, and other home medical supplies.
