Gynecologic Cancer Treatment at UPMC in Central Pa.

We offer our patients a range of treatment options, which alone or in combination provide them with their best opportunity for recovery.

Depending on the type and stage of your cancer your treatment may include:

Our treatment plans are leading edge and complete. We are committed to open and clear communication with our patients to ensure that you understand what to expect every step of the way. For patients receiving chemotherapy, hydration, infusions, injections or genetic testing in our office, we provide a relaxed, comfortable, safe and supportive environment under the care of our highly qualified nursing staff. Patients can receive all their treatments at one location at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center at the Rocco and Nancy Ortenzio Cancer Pavilion at UPMC West Shore.

Our Nurse Navigator Team

Every one of the nurses at the Women's Cancer Center is a "super" nurse navigator. Our nurses are all certified in oncology, and are fully committed to supporting and caring for our patients and their families. Our goal is to provide all the guidance and resources you need to face the physical, emotional and logistical challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis and treatment. We provide:

• Outstanding medical care
• Patient education and guidance
• Help with understanding what to expect during treatment
• Assistance with appointments and scheduling
• Emotional support during treatment
• Accessing to outside services
• Assistance with insurance
