The UPMC Center for Eating Disorders, previously known as COPE (Center for Overcoming Problem Eating), is committed to providing state-of-the-art eating disorder treatment, education, and research.
For more than 30 years, the UPMC Center for Eating Disorders has developed and provided evidence-informed treatment for individuals with anorexia and bulimia nervosa.
Today, the center offers a continuum of assessment and treatment services, including inpatient, outpatient, and intermediate levels of care to meet the needs of individuals at any stage of an eating disorder.
The UPMC Center for Eating Disorders continues its commitment to education and research by training students from various health care disciplines and conducting National Institute of Mental Health-funded research to improve our understanding and treatment of eating disorders.
