Hilltop Urban Farm Stories
Hilltop Urban Farm sits on 107 acres of land in Pittsburgh, 23 of which are dedicated to farming. The nonprofit, community-centered farm takes its name from the Hilltop community it serves.
UPMC proudly supports the farm’s mission to provide fresh, healthy food while offering youth-centered education and programs. UPMC employees volunteered at the farm during the UPMC Center for Engagement and Inclusion's MLK Day of Service.
“Thank you so much to UPMC for (coming),” says Hattie Lehman, Hilltop's director of farm programs. “We're hoping it will become an annual event. (You are) such great people, and we couldn't do it without you."
