Freedom House 2.0 Stories
UPMC proudly supports Freedom House 2.0’s mission to diversify the health care workforce and strengthen our communities. Data shows that health outcomes can improve when care teams directly reflect their community.
By furthering the legacy of the Freedom House Ambulance Service formed in the 1960s, we can continue to create more opportunities for underserved communities.
“The amount of lives we've been able to impact and the amount of people we've been able to provide workforce development training and jobs to is just beyond our wildest dreams,” says Trevor Mathey, project manager, Freedom House 2.0.
