Jared Quinteros is an accomplished artist whose artwork is installed at UPMC Mercy Pavilion.
Jared was injured in a hiking accident that took the life of his beloved wife, Kara Leo, the mother of his sons Oliver and Owen.
Jared has turned to art as a creative outlet for dealing with grief and depression.
He teaches art therapy workshops to newly injured patients at UPMC Mercy to help people connect with community and rebuild their lives after a spinal cord injury.
Jared is also on the board of Rebuild Better Together.
