Dana Aravich is an occupational therapist (OT) and mom to a wonderful little guy. She has lived with low vision her entire life, and although it can be challenging, it’s also a place where Dana finds her strength as someone who can problem-solve and find alternatives for herself and for others.
This has turned into a meaningful career as an OT specializing in neurologic and visual impairment, and Dana is passionate about finding the strength in others and advocating for inclusion and representation in the health care industry. She believes that building a community is important for everyone, regardless of their disability status.
Some of Dana’s most valuable resources include:
- Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation
- Job Accommodation Network
- Bureau of Blindness and Visual Services
