Dan McCoy was born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus.
In 2014, he won a gold medal as a member of the paralympic sled hockey team for the United States. Through his training, Dan developed a passion for helping individuals with and without disabilities lead healthier lives through diet and exercise.
He earned a personal training certification in 2017 from the American Council on Exercise after completing his bachelor’s degree in communication at the University of Pittsburgh. Dan also earned a master’s degree in human performance, with a concentration in strength and conditioning, from Liberty University.
He currently runs his own personal training business, Dan McCoy Fitness.
