Students who successfully complete their first semester at one of UPMC’s Schools of Nursing (UPMC SON) and continue to meet academic requirements are eligible to receive up to $7,000/semester in tuition forgiveness for all remaining semesters.

Carpooling is encouraged due to limited parking areas.
All students: When at the hospital, parking is available in Lot #4 (The Pit) which is located at the back of the hospital. Emergency call boxes are available.
Cars must be parked in a designated hospital parking lot. Cars parked in any unauthorized area may be towed away. The student will be responsible for costs incurred. Parking on the side streets is prohibited. Should a student be found not parking in the designated areas, disciplinary action will be taken. Students are responsible for their own transportation and field trips.
We recognize that students have received credit from other colleges/universities.
We will accept all courses with the equivalent content, and the same number of credits, where the student has earned a grade "C" or better.
We will determine earned credit once you submit a transcript to the Admissions office.

Upon graduation from UPMC Jameson School of Nursing, you will earn a diploma in nursing. This means you can take the national licensure exam, the NCLEX-RN, and begin working as an RN. We have also partnered with Westminster College to make it simple for you to earn your BSN after you graduate.
We have an NCLEX review course built into our nursing program at Jameson — N 360.
We offer this review course the last semester of the program, just before students take the exam.
We have incorporated NCLEX style questions throughout the didactic and clinical learning environments.
Clinical experiences are conducted at UPMC Jameson and many other trusted community partners from the northern Pittsburgh area up to the northwest region of Pennsylvania.
Clinical rotations are during daylight and evening hours.
Our program has over 800 hands-on nursing clinical hours.
Our program is a combination of classroom instruction and clinical experiences.
The schedule is 5 days per week with 6 to 8 hours of class or clinical training per day.
