Other services
- Botox therapy for migraines.
- Greater Occipital Nerve (GON) blocks.
- The electromyogram (EMG) evaluates the electrical properties of the muscles, which are controlled by your nerves. This involves placing a small, thin wire into selected muscles. This may involve a small amount of pain, but it is safe, and tolerated by most patients.
- Nerve conduction studies (NCS) show how well the body’s electrical signals are traveling along a nerve. This is accomplished by applying small electrical shocks to the skin over the nerve, and recording the nerve and/or muscle response. The electrical stimulation may feel strange, but it is very safe and generally well-tolerated.
