Nadine's Cafe at UPMC Hanover

Visitors are welcome to dine in the cafeteria, called Nadine's Cafe, located on the ground floor of UPMC Hanover. The cafeteria seating area is open throughout the day, but food can only be purchased during dining hours. Guest trays can be ordered and delivered to patient rooms so that visitors can dine with their friends or loved ones. Please ask your nurse if you would like to purchase a guest tray.

If you are hungry at a time when the cafeteria is not open, there are vending machines available on the first floor in the Emergency Department, on the second floor outside of the Heart & Vascular Unit, on the third floor in the hallway outside of Maternity/Pediatrics, and on the fourth floor outside of the Same Day Surgery waiting room.

Our standard menu at the Deli & Grill is listed below. In addition to the grill, deli, and daily lunch and dinner specials, visitors to Nadine's Cafe can choose from a salad bar, a variety of bottled and fountain drinks, prepackaged snacks, to-go sandwiches and salads, fresh fruit, and ice cream. We also proudly brew Starbucks® Coffee (both hot and iced) at our coffee station. To ensure customer safety, we are temporarily eliminating self-service foods. All food will be packaged or served from behind the counter. If you do not see a server, please ask the cashier for assistance.

Our Hours

We are open:

• Monday through Friday – 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Weekends – 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Our meal times include:

• Hot Breakfast – Open to 10 a.m.
• Beverages and To-Go Items only – 10 to 11 a.m.
• Lunch – 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Salad Bar, Deli and Grill – 1:30 to 4 p.m.
• Dinner – 4 to 6:30 p.m.

Sandwiches are priced based on their components. All sandwiches come with the option of leaf lettuce, tomato, onion, and a pickle.
