How to Apply
Our program participates in ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Services) as well as the NRMP Match. The program has elected to participate in the ERAS supplemental application and use of the ERAS application for signaling purposes should be used at the discretion of the applicant.
In order to be considered for our training program, applicants are required to complete all components of the ERAS common application form, including
- A personal statement
- Medical school transcripts
- A letter of recommendation from the Dean or appropriate officer of your medical school (MSPE)
- At least three letters of recommendation from physicians who are acquainted with your work or capabilities
- Official copies of board scores
Interviews will be held in January. The deadline for applications is October 31st. The UPMC Hamot Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program does participate in the AOA/CORD Universal Offer Day.
