At the UPMC Stroke Institute, high-quality patient care stands above all else. We offer our patients access to national leaders in neurology and neurosurgery who provide advanced or investigational stroke therapies not available at other stroke treatment centers.
These experts treat more than 1,500 patients annually and provide consultations for hundreds of others through the UPMC Stroke Telemedicine Program.
In addition, The UPMC Stroke Institute has eight locations that have been awarded Primary Stroke Center Certification and three locations that are certified Comprehensive Stroke Centers.
