A volunteer is a person who wishes to do volunteer work. Duration is a minimum of 50 hours. The volunteer is assigned a regular schedule.

Volunteer Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Complete the online application
- Submit two confidential references using one of the options below (Completed by any non-family member)
- Paper Referral (PDF): Download the PDF and ask two references to either mail or email directly to the address on the form.
- Online Referral: Send the link to two individuals to complete giving them instructions on how to submit the form.
- Complete criminal background check
- Attend orientation (applicants will be contacted regarding orientation dates)
- Interview with volunteer coordinator to discuss interests, availability, and possible assignments
