Keep Poisons Stored Safely

• Keep all medications, cleaning products, cosmetics, yard chemicals and other potential poisons up and out of the reach of children in a locked cabinet.
• Never remove poisons from their original container.
• Do not store medications or household products with food.
• Use child-resistant packaging whenever possible, but remember – NOTHING is child-proof.

Use Products Safely

• Always read labels before administering medication or using household products.
• Turn a light on to take or give medication. Good lighting allows you to read the label accurately.
• Put medications and products away immediately after use.
• Protect your pets from poisons.
