UPMC Northwest Radiologic Technology Student Schedules

The Radiologic Technology Program is a 23-month program. 

Weekly Schedule: 36 to 40 hours

Location: UPMC Northwest, Seneca Place building, Seneca, Pa.

Classroom instruction is held two days a week at UPMC Northwest Seneca Place. Clinical instruction is provided at either UPMC Northwest in Seneca, Pa., Grove City Medical Center in Grove City, Pa., Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Associates UPMC in Franklin, Pa, and UPMC Hamot in Erie Pa.

Term Schedule

UPMC Northwest’s observed holidays are:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King Day
  • Memorial Day
  • July 4th
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas
  • There are two weeks’ vacation which includes Christmas and New Year’s Day each year of training.
  • At the end of the first year, students are given a week off which includes July 4th.
  • Students receive the week that incudes Memorial Day of their senior year.
  • Students are given a bank of 50 hours that can be used as necessary.
