Volunteer Requirements at UPMC Chautauqua
Students who are 14 years or older must:
- Obtain working papers.
- Schedule an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator.
- Complete the application process, which includes attending an orientation and having a physical exam with a TB (tuberculosis) test.
Adults who are 18 years or older must:
- Schedule an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator.
- Complete the application process, which includes orientation and getting a physical exam with a TB test.
Where Do You Want to Help?
Here are some ways you can volunteer to help patients, families, and UPMC Chautauqua staff:
- Greeter at entrance
- Patient escort and/or transport
- Inpatient rounder
- The coffee cart
- Maternity information desk
- Food service (Cafeteria - wiping down tables)
- Teach activities in Residential Treatment Center (art, music, physical, etc.)
