Continuing Education

Prehospital Care

UPMC provides support and training for the prehospital care community through its Prehospital Care Program.

Through the development of policies, protocols, and procedures, and by offering continuing education, the program provides tools for ambulance and airmedical caregivers to improve patient care.

Medical Laboratory Science Program

UPMC offers intensive training programs for those desiring to become a medical laboratory scientist . Located in Altoona, PA, Williamsport, PA, and Jamestown, NY, these programs accept post-graduates and students in their final year of a science-based (bio/chem) bachelor degree.
