At the UPMC Center for Care of Infectious Diseases (CCID), we have specialized units for treating different types of infectious diseases (ID)— from HIV/AIDS to infections from certain surgeries, including organ transplants.
Providing high-quality, multidisciplinary patient care to those affected by a number of diseases caused by bacteria, fungi, parasites, or viruses, the CCID offers a broad range of care for Lyme disease, C. difficile, HIV/AIDS, HIV-Hepatitis C co-infection, bloodstream infections, and bone and joint infections.
