Ronald McDonald House Pittsburgh (RMHC) is connected to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh by an enclosed pedestrian bridge. It has 74 private apartments with comforts of home like equipped kitchens, TVs, and internet access, for up to 4 people.
If your child is getting care at UPMC Children's for an extended length of time, you're eligible to stay at RMHC if:
- You live more than 40 miles from UPMC Children's.
- The child getting care is under age 21.
