Rachel Jones is the Manager of Physician Recruitment-Onboarding and Retention at UPMC in central Pa. She has worked in provider recruitment and onboarding for UPMC in central Pa. since January 2014. She received her MBA in Strategic Leadership and Marketing from Penn State's Smeal College of Business and a BA in HR Management from Juniata College. Rachel has over eight years’ experience in recruitment in both the healthcare and IT fields.
Rachel is a Fellow of the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (FASPR), Education Chair for OAR, and a member of the Mid-Atlantic Physician Recruiter Alliance, Inc., (MAPRA) where she serves as the Treasurer.

Denise Bordner started with the UPMC in central Pa. team in July 2019. Denise graduated from Penn State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. Denise brings more than three years’ experience in healthcare and physician recruitment to the team.

Tracy Gueye started with UPMC in central Pa. Hospitals 2008, in the Neuroscience Institute Physical therapy department and moved on to UPMC in central Pa. Human Resource department in 2014. Tracy brings more than twelve years experiences in the Healthcare field with Onboarding and Recruitment skills to the Physician Recruitment team.

Patrick G. Dreer, Sr. is the System Director of Physician Recruitment for UPMC in central Pa. He has more than 25 years of experience in Health care Management and Recruitment. Patrick began his recruiting experience while in the Air Force, recruiting physicians for the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), culminating his career as a Recruitment Programs Manager on the Air Staff at the Pentagon. He is a retired Chief Master Sergeant with more than 29 years of military service. Previous experience includes not-for-profit health systems, as a physician recruitment consultant for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, and Regional Director of the American Cancer Society.
Patrick is currently the Ex-Officio (Past President) of the Mid-Atlantic Physician Recruiter Alliance, Inc. (MAPRA), a 501(c)6 non-profit dedicated to the advancement and professional development of health care recruiters in the Mid-Atlantic Region through networking, education, and collaboration. He previously served as President from 2012 to 2017, and Vice President from 2011 to 2012.
His background includes recruitment advertising and marketing, as well as IT development of applicant tracking systems. Patrick has the distinction of being recognized by then Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen as the Service Recruiter of the Year – Health Professions. Patrick is a Certified Medical Staff Recruiter (CMSR) and a Fellow of the Association of Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (FASPR). He received his BS in Management/Finance from Park University, his Master’s in Business Administration from American Military University, and his Certificate in Human Resources Management from Villanova University.
