When applying to the Family Medicine Residency Program at UPMC Williamsport, please have the following items completed:
- ERAS Application
- Three letters of recommendation
- MSPE
- Passing scores on USMLE I & II or COMLEX I & II
- Medical School graduation within one year of anticipated start of residency
Osteopathic recognition eligibility criteria
- A minimum of 100 hours of osteopathic training containing all of the following:
- osteopathic philosophy, history, terminology, and code of ethics
- anatomy and physiology related to osteopathic medicine
- indications, contraindications, and safety issues associated with the use of Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT)
- palpatory diagnosis, osteopathic structural examination, and OMT
In addition to completing your ERAS application, you are also required to have a personal interview to meet with our faculty and current residents. Interviews are scheduled mid-October through mid-January. Candidates selected to interview will be notified in writing.
