This allows us to create a unique experience for patients transitioning to the home setting, and for employees who want to reduce their co-pays. UPMC retail pharmacies offer free delivery to patient rooms and clinics.
Many patients find it challenging to stop at their local pharmacy on the way home from the hospital or clinic. The UPMC Rx Express program helps lessen this burden by filling prescriptions and delivering them to the patient's hospital room or clinic before discharge.
