Robotic Assisted Surgery
The da Vinci® Surgical System in Williamsport provides an alternative to both traditional open and conventional laparoscopic surgery, putting the doctor’s hands at the controls of a state-of-the-art robotic platform. The da Vinci System enables our doctors to perform hernia repairs through very small incisions with unmatched precision.
The operation is performed laparoscopically, meaning it is less invasive because it requires small punctures rather than a large incision. That means less time is required to heal.
