Mary E. Keebler, MD

Dr. Keebler earned her medical degree from Tulane University. She completed her internal medicine and cardiology training at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she held a clinical and research fellowship in medicine and cardiology at Harvard Medical School.  She completed additional post-doctoral research training at the Broad Institute of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Medical School, followed by additional fellowship training in heart failure at Boston Medical Center.

 

Upon completing of her training in 2010, Dr. Keebler joined the advanced heart failure and transplant faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she was an active member of the clinical faculty and served as the medical director of the Ventricular Assist Device Program before being recruited to UPMC in 2018.  Dr. Keebler has published over 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts and is heavily involved in national service in the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation.
