How to Be a Volunteer at UPMC Wellsboro
Adults (18+ years old) must:
- Schedule an interview with the UPMC Wellsboro Volunteer Assistant.
- Complete the application process. This includes orientation, a physical exam, and a TB test.
Students (15 to 17 years old) must:
- Get working papers.
- Arrange an interview with the UPMC Wellsboro Volunteer Assistant.
- Complete the application process, which includes orientation and a physical with a TB test.

UPMC Wellsboro Auxiliary
Mission: Our mission is to improve the quality of healthcare provided to our patients and community through fundraising and service.
President: Jennifer Stephens
Major fundraisers and projects: Holiday Shopping Soiree; Autumn Basket Raffle; Two Annual $1,000 Scholarships; Laurel Festival Parade Float; and Uniform, Book, Jewelry, Boyd's Bears, Miche Bag, and Linen Sales.
Monthly meeting: Third Tuesday at noon every other month in Mt. Laurel Board room, UPMC Wellsboro
