Job shadow opportunities are available at UPMC Northwest hospital to students who would like to follow a health care professional for up to 16 hours.
Students who are interested in job shadowing must complete the following:

The Education Department staff will consult the appropriate department manager prior to the arrival of the student to define the job shadow experience.
After approval, the student agrees to accept the job shadow and is supervised by the department manager or a health care professional, dependent upon the type and nature of the experience.
