The Pathology Laboratory at UPMC McKeesport is fully licensed by the state of Pennsylvania and the College of American Pathologists. It operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year. The laboratory supplements its testing capability by using reference laboratories that provide high quality service for our physicians and their patients.
The quality of the work is continuously monitored by internal quality control programs, participation in proficiency testing programs, and participation in hospital-wide continuous quality improvement programs.
UPMC McKeesport Laboratory Services provides routine chest X-rays, EKGs, and laboratory testing for your convenience and are located on the D-Level of the Mansfield Building.
