The Office of Government Affairs serves as the liaison between UPMC and state and federal policymakers. Government Affairs aims to increase awareness of UPMC's advanced treatment technologies, latest research, educational outreach, and cutting-edge clinical care while emphasizing the need for adequate funding to support the numerous programs UPMC employs.
UPMC also advocates for legislation that supports our mission of bringing high-quality therapies to patients, working to improve access to services, and supporting those in our community.
