Post-COVID Pulmonary Recovery Care

If you're struggling to recover from respiratory issues after your COVID-19 infection, a new program at UPMC West Shore may be able to help. Eligible patients include anyone who is still experiencing the following symptoms after three months or more since their COVID recovery:

  • cough
  • fatigue
  • cognitive dysfunction (also known as brain fog)
  • shortness of breath
  • exercise intolerance
  • weakness
  • autonomic instability
  • shortness of breath

The consultation process begins by meeting with a pulmonologist. The UPMC post-COVID-19 pulmonary recovery care team is a service of UPMC Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine.

Talk to your doctor about the post COVID-19 pulmonary recovery care and request a referral.
