Get Back on Your Feet With Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation, both inpatient and outpatient, is a form of therapy designed to help you recover from an illness, serious injury, or surgery. Through rehabilitation, you can learn to regain body movements and fine-motor skills, and learn new ways of doing things you did before.
Inpatient Rehabilitation Services
Inpatient rehabilitation is often confused with skilled nursing. Both inpatient rehab and skilled nursing rehab at UPMC have the same goal: getting you back on your feet. Each facility offers a different level of care designed for a different type of patient. Knowing your options and which type of care is best for you or your family member will help ensure the quickest path to a full recovery.
