Express Registration for Lab Tests and Classes

Express registration allows you to schedule lab work at a time that works best for you.

It also offers the convenience of registering in advance for:

• Nutrition counseling
• Diabetes education
• Insulin pump class

For express registration, call 1-866-334-5227 — Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Please make appointments at least 24 hours in advance.

When you call, please have the following information ready:

1. Your name and the date of your scheduled testing and diagnosis.
2. The name of the doctor that ordered your lab tests.
3. Your date of birth, Social Security number, phone number, and expected date of service.
4. Your insurance information, including the name and address of your insurance company.

Please also inform the scheduler if you have had any recent accidents.

When you arrive for lab testing at UPMC St. Margaret:

1. Arrive at the outpatient registration area (Entrance A) and check in with the registrar or volunteer.
2. Make sure to bring your insurance cards and your prescription or testing order for lab testing from your doctor.
