The Interfaith Pocket Guide (PDF) gives an overview on religious backgrounds, beliefs, and practices of a number of faiths. The guide offers basic information to help our care providers better meet a patient’s needs.
UPMC knows the lasting impact we can make by serving our communities. The UPMC Center for Engagement and Inclusion offers monthly "Lend A Hand" programs to inspire staff across the system to donate items, volunteer time, or attend events. These programs allow staff to reap the rewards of giving back to the places in which we all live and work. UPMC also partners with local non-profits to host UPMC Community Service Projects to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Throughout the course of a year, employees have the chance to take part in one of these large-scale projects.
