The Area Agencies on Aging provide access to care and support services to individuals who desire to remain in their homes or who are interested in transitioning from a skilled nursing facility to the community. Residents must be 60 years of age and older.
The Area Agencies on Aging provide the following care and support services:
- Family Caregiver Support Program
- Adult day care
- Senior Centers
- Long-term care assessments
- Meals on Wheels
- Transportation
- Health insurance counseling (Medicare)
- Elder abuse and legal services
- Information and Referral Resource Center
