Directions
Store in an air tight container. I like the tall plastic containers with the screw-top lids so I can shake it up to mix. Mix 2 tbsp of the protein powder with 8-12 ounces of milk or water (I prefer milk) in a shaker bottle or blend with ice.
The flavor combinations are limitless. Once I get a dehydrator, I plan to try adding ground, completely dried fruits to the base mix as well (apple cinnamon, pumpkin spice, strawberry cheesecake, blueberry or peach cobbler are just a few of the ideas I have).
The nutrition profile of each flavor varies by how much additional volume is added to the base mixture. The base mixture has about 16 2-tbsp (using stevia extract) servings at 50 calories, 11 g protein, 2 g carbohydrates, and 0 grams fat.
I purchased my whey powder for $17.99/lb in bulk and was able to get 4 cups out of a pound. Each container I made cost me about $6.00 to make (not including flavorings) or $0.36 per serving. Not bad!
