What You Need to Make Asian Tofu
- 3-1/4 oz. Super firm tofu.
- ½ tsp. Vegetable oil.
- 2-½ tsp. Rice flour.
- 1/8 tsp. White ground pepper.
- ¼ tsp. Garlic powder.
- ¼ tsp. Onion powder.
- 1/8 tsp. Ground ginger.
- ½ tsp. Kosher salt.
- 1/8 tsp. Ground black pepper.
- 1/8 tsp. Crushed red pepper.
How to Make Asian Tofu
- Drain and dice tofu into 1x1 in squares. Toss tofu in oil and coat well.
- In a small bowl, mix rice flour and all spices thoroughly.
- Sprinkle seasoned rice flour over the tofu. Toss gently and place in a single layer on a greased sheet tray. Make sure the tofu cubes aren't touching each other.
- Bake in a combi oven on pan-fried and small setting at 425° F for about 12 minutes. Flip the tofu halfway thru and cook for the remaining 6 minutes. Or bake in the oven at 400° F for 15 to 20 minutes. Then flip the tofu cubes and bake for 15 more minutes.
- Blast chill or hold hot for service.
