The following discounted parking options apply to the UPMC Presbyterian, UPMC Montefiore, and Kaufmann garages.

Patients receive free parking on their day of discharge.
Day-of-discharge validation stickers are available from the information desks at UPMC Presbyterian Ground Floor, or UPMC Montefiore 7th Floor Lobby, and Biomedical Science Tower 1st Floor Lobby.
Patients who are treated in the Emergency Department can receive free parking by requesting a validation sticker from the Emergency Department Check-in station.
Validation stickers are available from the information desks at UPMC Presbyterian Ground Floor, UPMC Montefiore 7th Floor Lobby, and Biomedical Science Tower 1st Floor Lobby. Patients who park in a UPMC garage are eligible for the following flat parking fee for up to 24 hours:

Patients’ families and other visitors to patients who park in a UPMC garage for four to 24 hours are eligible for a flat parking rate. To receive the following discounts, take your parking ticket to the main information desk at UPMC Presbyterian Ground Floor, UPMC Montefiore 7th Floor Lobby, or Biomedical Science Tower 1st Floor Lobby.
A discount parking rate is available for patients and their families who qualify under the federal government’s limited income guidelines. Proof of income is required. Call Parking Operations at 412-647-3194 for more information.
Family members of patients who are hospitalized for more than 10 consecutive days qualify for a discount parking rate. The discount is effective upon the 11th day of the patient’s stay. Discount provided through the admitted patient clinical unit, Patient Relations, or Hospital Information Desks.
